Distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2005, this bottle is another in Glenrothes' exceptional line of "vintage" single malts. Highlighting the year of distillation (and including the year it was bottled, so you can work out the age) allows drinkers to explore how a whisky can vary from year to year.

Tasting Notes

"Spice cake and honey are found on the nose, with licorice and something vaguely herbal. The mouth is a beautiful mix of flavors: butterscotch, nuts, bitter mint and orange peel, cream, stewed fruit, and oak. There's even some smokiness lurking in the shadows. Oak spice and gingerbread pop by for the long, enjoyable finish. "
