The Gospel Solera Australian Rye Whisky

Caramel, honey. Nice, sweet whisky. Enjoy neat.

On the nose it is sweet, caramel and slightly fudgy, with a delicate floral note. It’s been double distilled, to taste it’s smooth and oily, that fudge hits hard, it’s like a caramel that’s taken right to its limit, then infused with booze. It’s slight spicy on the end, keeps you warm, like a big whisky hug.

This surprised me. The tag on the side suggested it be mixed with other drinks so we weren't expecting much. It is easy to drink without any ice or water. The nose is amazing and doesn't seem to match the flavour. It's very tasty and sweet. Not sure how to identify the Rye but it's very nice.
