Kraken Black Spiced Rum Original

Mmm... this changed my mind about spiced rums. Dark, rich, sweet, and spicy; I get a taste of dark molasses, Dr. Pepper, burnt sugar, and oak. It's very dense, and at poured strength of 47%, the alcohol, spiciness, and sweetness are very pronounced. On ice is absolutely delicious. This is also wonderfully complex in a daiquri! Some of the spices shine through more, like nutmeg and a touch of clove. At $15 this is practically a steal, beats the ever loving hell out of anything else at the price point.
