The Last Drop 1980 Buffalo Trace Bourbon
Bourbon
The Last Drop // Kentucky, USA
This 1980 vintage bourbon was distilled at the George T. Stagg Distillery, today known as the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY. Its name was changed in 1992 when the Sazerac Company bought the distillery and its contents.
This bourbon was matured there for 20 years in new, charred oak barrels and then placed into stainless steel tanks for another 20 years. Only 240 bottles were created for this release which is bottled at 90 proof. This is one of three limited edition releases for The Last Drop in their newly created Autumn Collection.
