A good whisky, but likely not worth the money. A syrupy sweet viscous and robust sherried malt - which is bitter from the charred oak and is not particularly subtle - but does have strength of flavors

Addictive. Was buying the Balvenie 17 because I didn’t want to pay for this. Finally did, gone in about a week. Very smooth, sweet, fulfills the promise of the 12 nicely. One of my favorites.
