Macallan 1824 Series Ruby

A great whisky matured in first fill sherry cask. Shot of sherry influences, sweetness, dried red fruits, a little oaky and honey on the nose. After few minutes the aromas are more open. The palate is rich with dried fruits (raisins mostly), dark chocolate and oak. Oily and sweet but at the very end becomes a little dried. Finish is long with the oak, chocolate and spices.
