This bottling is a blend, or vatting, of different malt vintages produced at the distillery. The ages vary as do the barrels used, but they only use ex-bourbon and ex-sherry in a varying degrees of uses, some new and some used.
A large portion of the whisky distilled here go into the blends of The Famous Grouse and Cutty Sark. A tiny percentage (2%) is bottled as a single malt.

Tasting Notes
"The nose is full of vanilla, caramel, and toasted barley. The profile of the whisky is fruity and soft, a very mellow sort of dram save for the baking spices on the finish. This is a nice little dram to start the evening with."
