The Sexton Single Malt

Nice apple smell on the nose. Taste is sweet. Salty Caramel, Apple. Light flavor and smooth.

Nose Graham crackers, Spiced fruit, spiced applesauce, honey malt, floral Palate Caramel Dried spices Pepper

This reminds me of a more flavored Tullamore D.E.W. clove and vanilla on the nose sweet gain on the taste and light finish.

Spicy almost to harshness, woody. Very little discernible in the nosing. Reading other tasting notes, I wonder if this was the same whiskey. It isn’t terrible and it was reasonably priced.

I'm normally not able to pull out a lot of notes when drinking whiskey, but had strong notes of pears and fruit that I could taste on this one. Did not have a bite at the end and was overall quite enjoyable.
