My second Whistler, the Irish whiskey by Boann, is the famous PX I LOVE YOU, which not only has a beautiful name but also an incredible good looking bottle. An Irish single malt, triple distilled and matured as you might have already guessed, in Pedro Ximenez Sherry Casks. Bottled at 46%abv. On the nose, i get a classic candied orange notes that you can find in any Dalmore. Beautiful. Impalpable sugar, coffee beans, sawdust and more oranges. On the palate, you can actually feel the 46%abv since it feels very light and gentle. Citric. Crazy dips lollipop with the sparkling sugar. Aftertaste follows the same rythm. Oranges, sugar, candied fruits and brown sugar. Overall, this one is not a super complex dram, but surely a delicious and easy enjoyable one. The PX is here in the form of candied fruits and lots of sugary profiles. I truly liked it as a sweet everyday dram. My score is 88 over 100.
