Thomas Tate Tobin's Taos Lightning Bourbon honors the original Taos Lightning spirit which was distilled in 1820 by Simeon Turley until his death in 1847 during the Taos Pueblo Revolt.
It's named after one of the survivors of the revolt, Thomas Tate Tobin, who later became a bounty hunter for the Army.

This chill-filtered whiskey is distilled from a mash bill of 60% corn, 40% rye and barley malt before aged for four years in new, charred American oak barrels.
