Tomatin produces quite a bit of whisky per year (two million liters annually, with the ability to produce 5 million), much of which is used for blends such as The Antiquary and The Talisman. This 15 year bottling is aged exclusively in refill American oak barrels. As of April 2014, the whisky has been discontinued and will be replaced with a 14 year Port wood finish expression.

Tasting Notes

"Fresh cut apples and pears hit your nose initially followed by the classic heather notes found in Highland whiskies. Char smoke comes through on the palate creating an image of smoldering heather and moss. The finish is just a touch sweet and wood spice filled. "
