Tomatin Legacy

Strong and a full body in the beginning, fruit on the nose but definetly a long finish.

A 2022 IWSC 99-pointer Scotch, at an affordable price, definitely sounds like a great deal. However, after trying it, it didn’t deliver to the high expectations. It is, indeed, a good all-around Whisky, well-balanced with just enough complexity though.

Slightly paler aspect in the glass. Vanilla, pear liqueur, grain, varnish.

On the nose: Bourbon spice and wood, some sweetness. On the palate: I definitely taste the Oak wood and Bourbon notes, vanilla, fruits with a bitter and short finish. I really enjoyed this whisky and would recommend it to any friends or whisky enthusiasts who are looking for a whisky with a good blend of sweet / bitter notes with a bourbon spice feel.
