Reviewed November 7, 2024Clear, amber gold appearance, with widely-spaced alcohol legs and some white sediment chunks. Aroma is of honey-topped white bread crust. Flavor is of that element, plus white bread and nuts, such as almond. It has a medium body, a somewhat oily mouthfeel, and a mostly dry finish. RJT23.99 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed December 5, 2022 (edited December 6, 2022)12.5.22 Served: Neat in Glencairn, then 2:1 highball (east imperial soda, which I don't recommend) Bottle Open: 3 years. Last intake: Grilled cheese. Aroma: Oak, vanilla, apple, pear Flavor: -Neat: Caramel, oak, light bitterness, light savoriness, bitterness and savoriness are reminiscent of untoasted whole grain bread. Bitterness overtakes other flavors on the finish. Slightly more pleasant than unpleasant. -Higball: Apple is prominent. Flavor is acceptable. Pleasant characteristics that are typical of highland scotch. The unfortunate bitterness knocks it down from what would be a 3.75-4 rating. Would drink. Would not seek out. -

Reviewed January 29, 2022 (edited June 16, 2024)Nose: light honey, apple, pear, hay, some light vegetal notes, light cereal notes, fairly simple but pleasant. Taste: generally the same as the nose, mild barrel spices, white peppery note, hint of an herbal quality, light ashy note on the finish, rather short. Overall, it’s a decent Highland, but slightly thin on both the nose and taste. However for a budget offer, it’s worth a try and is solid for the price. -

Reviewed September 11, 2021Huh. This is fine and worth the price but absolutely nothing special and a tad boring.
