Light and fruity on the nose with strong accents of oak. Straight forward bourbon flavor notes. Easy drinker and a great go to given the price.

Loads of vanilla, much better now that it's sat open a bit. This was a single barrel store pick

Nose: fresh, bright, cool. I’m not really getting mint or menthol, but it’s a similar cooling nose you get with high rye bourbons. Youthful ethanol. Baking spices. Grass mixed with cornmeal. Slight honey and caramel are subtle notes underneath everything else. Palate: sweet corn with fresh dill. Charred oak. Development presents youthful ethanol heat, black pepper, and rye spice. Finish is fairly short with oak then fleeting mint oil

Actually pretty nice. McK got me a gift set with a 200 mL bottle for passing the OCE. Smells nicely of vanilla and oak. Tastes pretty simple with soft rye spice. Unexciting but very good! MGP blended
