This añejo style tequila was originally released in 2010 by Tres Agaves, a craft tequila producer founded in 2008. It is made with blue weber agave grown in the Tequila Valley region of Jalisco. After being distilled twice in a pot still, the tequila is then aged for 18 months in American oak barrels previously used to mature bourbon. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
