Tasting Notes
"The grain whiskey notes can be picked up on the nose, mostly in the form of popcorn. But it doesn't have the coppery/metallic flavors like some inexpensive blends can have. The French oak shows up with a light toasty flavor and gentle spices. There's some slickness on the palate along with some sweet cereal notes and apple juice. Overall it's an inoffensive whiskey with a short finish. The label might suggest a rough and tumble experience, but it's fairly easy to drink. But it's also an easy one to forget. "
