Two James Spirits Catcher's Rye

Phenomenal woody oak on the nose. It’s almost like you’re in a wood shop. Definitely wood heavy on the palate. There’s an odd metallic flavor that really throws this off. No layering to the flavor; very one dimensional.

Sweet for a rye. Smooth with little heat

this is really nice grain to glass 100% rye. I’ve been wanting to try this for years, and it was well worth the wait. I wish distiller would update their rating as no doubt this stuff is well over 3 years aged now, and tastes like it. it’s smooth but spicy with notes of chocolate, mint and cherry. long finish … one of the best ryes I’ve had in a while.
