Union Horse Reunion Straight Rye

Nose: sugar, vanilla, corn, apple Palate: candy, sweet corn, vanilla, oak Finish: short and sweet, smidge of vanilla

Maybe should give 4 stars. Had at Martin City Brewery. Complex but balanced. Had after some spicy Christmas nutmeg beers so could not balance out the heavy spice for this one. But a lot of flavor, and some leather notes under the fruit. Should try again in a quieter space.

A very nice and balanced rye. Lots of rye spice on the palate. A fun, nice vanilla on the nose and a nice warmth but not overly powerful on the finish

I love this one. It’s more bold than some of the other locals, and that makes for a nice change once in a while.

This was pretty great. Single barrel pick over 5 years old and was about 50-60. Would buy again
