Tasting Notes
"The nose is sweet and enticing, with molasses and char, syrupy candied fruits, brown sugar and cinnamon pancakes, with more baking spices including cloves and nutmeg. The high-proof is felt more on the palate which is drier and has notes of rye spice, oak, cedar and pinewood. There's a background sweetness with underlying vanilla, caramel, and maple syrup. The finish is quite lengthy and warming, offering oak, rye spice, black pepper, and a final touch of brown sugar. Toss in an ice cube to tame the spicy side of the palate."
