Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye 13 Year

Nose: sweet, no ethanol, cinnamon buns Taste: cinnamon, baking spice, caramel, mint

Soooo good. This 13 year is delectable dec 2020 version is just as reviewed if not better. My taste was a neck pour from a new bottle. Very impressed

Nose is sweet and rye grain. Taste is also sweet but spicy and a wonderful smooth but rye burn. Worth it

One wonderful rye with a sweetness on the nose that transitions to a spiciness on the mid to back palate. This has notes of pecan pie, brown sugar, vanilla, dark chocolate, cherries, apricots, oranges, maple syrup, red apples, nutmeg, walnuts, almonds, cloves, cinnamon, chili peppers, and grass.

Caramel, apple, almost berry, cinnamon, leather, smooth, earthy finish 2022 version: minty oak, slight sour apple nose Pallet: sweet and full bodied, spearmint, coats the tongue like a nicely aged Willett rye. Chocolate and pepper in the finish.
