Very Old Barton 80 Proof Bourbon

Ethanol on the nose. Ethanol on the palate and an ethanol burn. Such faint bourbon flavors. Tried it neat, rocks then mixed with sprite. As a mixer, it works. Good thing I only paid $9.

I like this delightful drinker because it's sooooo smooth. Not much complexity but a nice supper. Nose is oak and Graham crackers. Woody, leathery, and vanilla on the palate. Light bodied due to it being watered down to 80 pf.

Light color and taste. Easy to drink and great for the price.
