Vikre Boreal Spruce Gin

Reviewed January 7, 2022 (edited July 20, 2023)Hint of color, medium thick legs in the glass. Nose is sweet, with juniper, pine, and anise, and a little ethanol. Spruce/pine, citrus, sweet, and a burst of ethanol in the mouth. Sense is sweet overall. Spice, anise, and mint builds and fades through an average finish. Fresh and light body, rather thin mouthfeel. Not as essentially "pine forest" as St George's Terroir gin, but a lighter option that should mix well in drinks from a Tom Collins (it does,, with a subtle pine flavor) to a Martini. Does NOT play well in a White Negroni, trust me.
