Virginia Distillery Co. Courage & Conviction Bourbon Cask is made from 100% malted barley and aged a minimum of three years.
The barrels used in the maturation process are former Kentucky bourbon casks. The first batch for this release is expected to arrive in spring 2021 and is dedicated to one of the distillery's key mentors Nancy Fraley.

Tasting Notes
"Though aged in bourbon barrels, this release from Courage and Conviction doesn't take on too much color, pouring a golden straw in hue. It's light-bodied and approachable, with notes of pear, subtle vanilla, and salted caramel. That hint of salinity continues on the finish along with a dry touch of cacao."
