Weller Antique 107 Bourbon

My favorite bourbon that I’ve tried in my short time in the bourbon tasting world. The nose is amazing with tons of vanilla and cinnamon. I think the nose beats the taste on this one. OWA has a thick mouthfeel with a cinnamon burn on the back end. But it’s a good, warming burn. Smooth for a slightly higher proof.

Pour/Color: Auburn, burnt orange Nose: Super Sweet, leather, vanilla, butterscotch, brown sugar, charred oak Taste/Palette: Buttery; thick vanilla/butterscotch; into apple/red fruit, then a cinnamon and redhots finish hitting the back of the throat
