Nose - Sweet vanilla, hint of cherry coke reduction, dark caramels, hint of sweet brioche bread.
Taste - Smooth cinnamon vanilla sweetness initially, transitions to a vanilla coke reduction sweetness, then turns into this burnt sugar/cocoa nub bitterness that blends in with the sweet.
Finish - Lingering bittersweet taste, lightly drying, this charred cinnamon stick heat and bitterness mixed with some lightly bitter burnt vanilla caramels.
Score - 87/100
Final Thoughts - The nose on this one is amazingly subtle for the proof. Very pleasant heavy vanillas with a tiny hint of cherry coke which I wish was a bit stronger. Initial taste when it hits the tongue is great but the longer you let it sit, more of this bitterness seems to come forward which isn't entirely unpleasant, but isn't great either. The finish on this kind of falls apart as the bitter and lightly drying feeling dominates and leaves you wanting the initial taste of that delicious vanilla sweet you got when it first hit your tongue.
