After purchasing an apple orchard in 1989, Warwick Winery and Distillery first began producing wine and apple cider in 1993. In 2001, they became the first distillery in the Hudson Valley since prohibition. Their Warwick gin is made from 6 botanicals: juniper berries, lemon peel, lime peel, coriander, angelica root, and anise. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
Distilled GinThis style of gin takes a neutral spirit and then adds juniper berries and other natural flavorings before it is re-distilled. After distillation, additional flavors (artificial or natural) and sweeteners may be added.
