Weller Full Proof Bourbon

Tried at Evergreens in Kentucky. Fantastic. Had alongside Old Fitz 11 year BiB. Had a hard time determining which was better. This was sweeter with a longer finish. Somehow the OF seemed more complex and richer despite the lower proof.

Deep, rich bronze in color N - apples, rye, spice P - velvety, buttery chocolate F - spicy heat, turned medicinal. Lingers around. I’m not the best profiler… but this rocks.

Rich and inviting to the nose. Smooth, well aged, warm (114 proof) and honestly pleasant on the tongue. Nice long finish that invites another slow sip. I confess, I’ve not found a Weller that I didn’t appreciate, and I think I’ve sipped all of them. I’m a real fan of the Antique (107 proof), and Full Proof is both like it yet different enough to be a solid edition to their lineup. Give it a run 🥃😊👍🏼
