This Beer Cask Finish is part of Westland's Cask Exploration Series, a new member of the distillery's core range. Made using various malted barleys, the American Single Malt is finished in beer casks from the Pacific Northwest after its initial maturation. These finishing casks include Scotch ale, stout, brown ale, doppelbock, saison, and stock ale. Matured for eight years, it's bottled at 92 proof with 10,961 bottles created for batch 1.
Future batches will be released when needed. Available at the distillery and via e-commerce in August 2024, nationwide availability begins September 2024. (SRP $74.99).
