This release is a special limited edition single barrel release of WhistlePig's core WhistlePig 6 Year PiggyBack Rye whiskey. The Legends Series celebrates living legends, and for this release the brand is celebrating Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz, otherwise known as Big Papi.
In honor of his induction in to Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame in 2022, this whiskey is finished in barrels containing Ortiz’s signature DO34 maple wood bats. .
