Widow Jane Paradigm Rye is the first nationally released bottling made with whiskey distilled at the brand's facility in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The NYC rye was married with rye whiskeys from Kentucky and Indiana in five barrel batches. Like all Widow Jane whiskeys, this is non-chill-filtered and proofed with pure limestone water from Rosendale Mines of New York just 100 miles north of the distillery.

RyeRye produced in the US must be made of at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels (no age requirement). Elsewhere, it will be made according to the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma has a vanilla cherry aroma with a gentle grassy background. The whiskey is lightly sweet, soft and full on the palate with more cherry flavor coming through. There's some mild oak and char flavors providing a bit of dimension to an otherwise straight-forward rye. "
