Wild Turkey Bourbon 101

Nose is sweet cream & vanilla pudding. Palette is cinnamon & spice. A touch of water brings out a hidden sweetness. Finishes long and dry.

A solid bourbon that won't hurt your wallet too bad if your Father In-law sucks one down.

First pour and it’s enjoyable. The “high rye” it claims does come through but it’s a little thin. It’s a good flavor and I look forward to refining my tasting of this as I work on this bottle. *2nd bottle… I’ve come to enjoy this as a super solid offering for the price. You can still get 1.75L at $40 which comes to around $18 for typical 750mL bottle. Hard to beat at that price.

This is an excellent higher proof, lower cost, whiskey, with a smooth and sweet character that makes it very easy to drink.
