Tastes

I like Jack #7, both black and green. I'm cool with Gentleman, and I am a big big fan of the Single Barrel select at 94 AND at Barrel Proofs. I had grand designs that this Bonded Jack would be a delight. I am disappointed. Flavor is unrefined: harsh, astringent, and the nose and finish do not deviate. This is an unpleasant whiskey.

It might be the flavor of the pot still..

Tasted it on the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience tour. Tasty. Not worth the price tag for me...but tasty.
