Master's Keep is a limited edition annual release from Wild Turkey. This Voyage bottling is a rum finished bourbon expression that was made in collaboration with Joy Spence, Master Blender for Appleton Estate Jamaican Rum. In detail, the rum barrels chosen for the finishing previously held 14 year-old pot-distilled Jamaican rum.
Wild Turkey Master Distiller Eddie Russell selected the 10 year-old bourbon barrels for this bottling. Bottled at 106 proof, this is available beginning July 2023 at select retailers. (SRP $275).

Tasting Notes
"The nose shows both the bourbon and rum notes at full power with a very light rum funk finding its way around the edges. Robust tropical fruits pair well with the caramel and vanilla. You'll find a light grassy sugarcane flavor to join in the symphony of flavors. It is sweet, but not cloying and the finish is long. The bourbon manages to win the flavor battle in the end, but only just. Ultimately, it's a wonderfully balanced ready-to-drink bourbon & rum cocktail. Enjoy on the rocks with perhaps a ginger beer on the side"
