High notes of honey on the nose. You get lots of rye at the beginning then a finish of sweet caramel.

Barrel oak, vanilla, and brown sugar on the nose. Immediate brown sugar followed by the vanilla in the taste. finishes with the bite of the proof

thin, dry oak, slight spice, burnt/toasted vanilla

This American whiskey has a nice smooth balance despite its high octane. Flavors of vanilla and caramel come through mid taste. Great overall bourbon. Definitely one of my favorites.
