I dont get the herbal flavor i get a rich spicy flavor. Like a high rye bourbon. Think turkey version of the 4R SB. Id consider a second bottle if it were less pricey.

Yup. This is good despite the price. Very high rye bourbon flavor rich and creamy without water and becomes herbal grassy rye with added water. Great cameleon sip. Versatile is better way to describe it. Almost skipped this one.

Got this as a gift and was hesitant to open it since regular angels is just ok to me and this one is $$$. I went through this bottle, immediately wanted a second one, and feel comfortable buying another. It’s “ a top 5 for me” as they say. Rich flavor and the cask stength is not overpowering. Can be sipped in a norlan or put on a small ice cube. I usually enjoy michters and wild turkey products.

Yup. Its that good. Way better the 18 year and slightly edges out the cask strength batches which are my favorite of the line up. 18 was food but finish disappeared to fast. 15 has the whole package. Nose pallate and finish.

Vanilla and cinnamon tea. Spot on flavor notes and high score is for the price point. Yes it’s watered down and “could benefit from a few proof points” yeah we get it but its cheap and easy drinkng and damn tasty for the proof and price point. Think 80 proof four roses. Damn good for the money. I mormally dont rate on price but it makes sense on this one

The expert review is spot on here. Also this one is 101 proof!? AND drinks like a 90 proof!? Careful with this one bc it is super essy to drink while delivering good flavor. Better than the VII for sure. A nice jump in age and some cool stats to increase value like nonchill filtered and tweaking the proof to benefit the flavor of the whiskey.

This is a great representation of WT products. Stands out to me next to several KS and RR PB picks. I thought the expert score should have been a 90 as I went to select 4 stars. Def better than a B in my book.

This takes the standard offering and makes it less boring with the oak influence. Also this is not just a blend of three whiskeys. Decent concept with promising results. Is it better than other $70 whiskeys? Mostly no. But it’s a nice step up from the normal angels offering for sure. Score is based on how it improves on the reg offering.

Giving this a 5 to give it more love. $55 12 yr wirh this flavor? And only a score of 88?! Nope. Way better than that. Dont usually factor in price but here its warranted.

I agree with the expert tasting notes. Lots of cherry with a woody funk but I dont agree with the score. This one belongs in the nineties. Every release seems get better than the last and thats difficult to do
