I actually had this to compare Bakers 7 to Rare Breed. Rare Breed is far better on the nose: tons of woodsmoke, baking spices, and oak. On the palate Rare Breed has more bite from the ABV with brown sugar, oak, char. It has a long finish that is very enjoyable.
The Bakers 7 is sweeter with less burn (lower ABV) and has brown sugar, baking spices and oak. If Rare Breed is too much for you Bakers 7 is a nice alternative, but more cost.
