Reviewed July 13, 2020 (edited August 10, 2020)Caramel, cereal, light pepper, light fruit, slightly sweet. Well rounded, but a little raw and may need more time in the barrel. I paid around $60 for it; good for the price, but it would be a much better deal at about $10-15 less, especially when I can still find McKenna 10 for less than $50. -

Reviewed July 4, 2020 (edited July 6, 2020)Got the last bit of a bottle at a 4th of July party. Nose - basic notes. Caramel, sweet notes and kind of bland. Taste - starts sweet and light. Start to get some heavy caramel and cherries then heavy pepper at the end and finish. Overall - I have had some great bottle in bond bourbons but this one let me down a bit. Nothing wrong with it just didn’t fit my palate profile. -

Reviewed July 4, 2020 (edited July 16, 2020)Nose: at first was not picking up much to be honest, some spice, some ethanol, mild vanilla and caramel, mild fruit (?cherries). Seems to open up when let to breathe, now getting honey as well. Palate: medium bodied, still mild vanilla and caramel, oak and smoke on the way down, finish feels like I just smoked a cigar
