Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon

Nose: floral, vanilla, apple, baking. Taste: good tongue coat and fullness, spices like anise and a touch of pepper. Smooth, with a slight burn on the back of the mouth (but not reaching the throat) at the finish. Overall impression: This is a simple, straightforward flavor that I can enjoy no matter what my mood. I think this is one of my "go-to" whiskeys when nothing else is sitting quite right. Some days you don't want to deal with the bitey spices or complex flavors. I really enjoy this whiskey and try to keep a bottle on hand.

Unique and distinguished. Char and rain

Per the price tag I’m not entirely impressed. But overall not a bad bourbon. Had over rocks, definitely get leather and char on the taste but not overpowering. Would have again, but I do feel you can get just as good bourbon for less then $50-60.
