William Lawson's Blended Scotch Whisky

Noticeable fusil note. Dried fruit but also something chemical. Unpleasant to drink.

Better than most supermarket whiskeys at same price tag, but no match for the other ones.

Price, cocktails

A light whiskey - biscuit and apricot notes. It’s not bad, it’s just not impressive at all. Better used with a mixer.

Harsh alcohol but sweet and malty

Smells like moonshine, tastes bad unless you add 5% of something like Zubrowka Zlota - then you’ll have a nice cocktail.

Light on the palette. Very malty, some biscuit, wheat. Alcohol note, bit of pineapple and citrus/shiny very faint smoke. Not rounded and goes down harshly - tastes like a high alcohol beer. Not bad.

An absolut horror of a whisky... Please avoid it and drink some tomato juice instead

Good for the price point

For its price, this is very very good. Malty and sweet and gentle - works great as a workday nightcap.
