Woodford Reserve Bourbon

45.2% ABV, 90.4 Proof, Label Batch 7060, Bottle # 120. Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. 2021 Chirstmas gift. Good, solid, everyday, middle of the road bourbon.

This bourbon is perplexing… sometimes harsh and dull on the pallet, other time very smooth and mediocre notes on the pallet. However, the notes on the nose are robust and complex every time. Which is somewhat misleading. I think the price point should be around $5-$10 cheaper. I don’t think it is as full bodied as other bourbons in the same price point like buffalo trace. But this one is also great for cocktails.

Bite at the start but finishes nice. Needs to breathe
