This release from Woodford Reserve's Distillery series collection features a Kentucky straight bourbon which has been matured in heavily toasted, lightly charred oak barrels. Originally intended to be used for the brand's Double Oaked Bourbon bottling, new-make bourbon distillate was filled into 18 barrels before the mistake was discovered. These barrels were then moved to Warehouse C and monitored for over 6 years.
Bottled in 375ml bottles, this bourbon is available at select Kentucky retailers and at the distillery beginning May 2024. (SRP $64.99).
