Woodford Reserve Double Oaked

I often find myself reaching for this bourbon after a long day. It has a rich oakiness to it (obviously) but is very light and drinkable at the same time. NOSE: Sweet corn and Kings Hawaiian Rolls TASTE: Vanilla, Oak, Honey, Cinnamon

Maybe it's just me, but this one was a huge disappointment. Nose shows a lot of promise--cotton candy, rich sweets, but the taste and finish are just unpleasant. Soggy, bitter, almost like bile. I'd take standard Woodford over this any day, and I'm not even a crazy big Woodford fan.
