Drinking it neat.
Very sweet on the nose. Just plain simple sweetness, with a hint of vanilla (and a bit of cherry perhaps?). It does mutate after the first sip a bit and shows some smoky woody flavour.
The taste, oh the taste is wonderful. Right until letting it slide down, there is no burning sensation at all. It's all wonderfully sweet and mellow taste that runs around one's mouth. After everything has subsided the sweetness stays, like after eating a nice dessert (vanilla and caramel one).
I can imagine this being a go to for rye lovers, as the price point is really good and definitely worth it. It might not live up to other alternatives from far away lands, but it's something that can be the one you reach for on a regular basis for that rye-i goodness.
