The nose has a very nice note of perfectly ripe, sweet pear and the palate is dominated by a honey sweetness that gives way to a slightly spicy and woody finish.
I happen to be a big fan or the Writers Tears variations and enjoy this one also. It provides many levels of layers. I get an orange (Grand Marnier) taste and feel. Sticky sweetness that slips to a creamy texture as cereal and baking soices close okt the experience. So mich warmth and goodness.
Similar to the standard Copper Pot.
But with more smokiness and oak.
Intense fruity fragrance.
Lots of citrus and earthy taste.
Very rich.
Lingering spice.

Butterscotch, marzipan, and plum on the nose. The palate has a honeyed sweetness pierced by near-metallic grain and oak bitterness. Orange zest lingers a bit but not much in the way of evolution here.
