Yellow Rose Double Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon
Yellow Rose // USA
As them name suggests, Double Barrel is referring to the two types of barrels used in the aging process.
This sourced straight bourbon is first aged in new American charred oak before it is transferred to barrels that previously held cabernet sauvignon wine.

Tasting Notes
"Crushed raspberries and ground peanuts are found on the nose along with a smidgen of Play Doh. Slightly sweet as you taste, the whiskey becomes more dry and spicy and less creamy sweet. The flavor of corn stays with you on the finish with berries being a very minor player in the taste. "
