Glasgow – Virtual American Whiskey Tasting, 26 February 2021) Nose: Apple, honey, brown sugar, sweet Palate: ‘Hot’, vanilla, black pepper, wood, nutty Finish: Slightly metallic. Sugary, oak, dusty, light char. Slightly sour aftertaste. Despite being slightly hot, it’s an easy dram to drink. The overarching flavour is nutty, woody and vanilla, although there is a little fruit in the background.
