Nose:
Weirdly minty, dry oak, cinnamon, the Armagnac finish took away some nuttiness found in the base Yellowstone, brownie with dried cherries
Palate:
Salted cherry jam, nailed it. Honeyed, so balanced yet complex, black cherry pastry, almost sugary
Finish:
Medium plus length, oak and char come in, lingers well, butterscotch, dried fruit comes in late
The proof is perfect, easy drinking with loads of character. The Armagnac finish doesn’t add too much and complements what’s already there and adds depth/fruit.
