This is the second release for the brand's Special Finishes Collection following the Toasted Stave Finish which launched in October 2023. Here, Limestone Branch Master Distiller Stephen Beam began with four year-old bourbon made with a traditional mash bill. Then the bourbon was finished for nine weeks in barrels which previously held rum distilled with molasses made from sugarcane grown in Cuba.
Bottled at 100 proof, it's available nationwide beginning March 2024. (SRP $49.99).
