I am a total fanboy of this bourbon. It's the whiskey that made want to explore more bourbon. It's complex and easy to drink and I don't think that it gets a fair shake in the whiskey world most of the time because of low abv, but it is a perfect session whiskey and is a great way to introduce people to a whiskey with complexity. Nose: Almonds and corn dust followed by vanilla, caramel, and baked bread. Palate: Caramel, vanilla, almond, butter, and a sugary sweetness. It kind of reminds me of creme brûlée Finish: Medium with a very very slight bitter and nuttiness Mouthfeel: Slightly thin and slightly astringent, but it is extremely easy to drink.
