Nose: Honey. Pear.
Taste: Greeted with lightness of honey and pear sweetness. Nice bit of oak with a hint of smoke and spice.
Finishes with more smoke and fruity sweetness.
Pretty balanced with a solid mouthfeel. Not too heavy but enough to let you know it’s there. The flavor is a bit dainty, and I think I’d prefer a tiny bit more smoke but, overall, it’s great. Light, fruity flavor paired with a solid body makes this scotch a decent one in my book.
Curious for some more complexity as I begin to discover more scotches.
